**Borrowed Bodies**
The Borrowed Bodies first project by the Dopea collective. This interdisciplinary exhibition, using various media, combines photography, fashion, and a social-scientific perspective to explore how social media affects our bodies and how we relate to them, through the stories of people observed by hundreds of thousands.

**Radical Visuality, Transparent Manipulation**
Thanks to social media, visual communication is becoming primary, and messages are conveyed through manipulated bodies. Through the bodies of models, actors, and artists, various products and ideologies become appealing to us. These intermediaries can even blur together in our minds. What we see is not necessarily real, and participants must strive for critical media consumption.
But what do those who lend their bodies to convey these messages experience? How much do they identify with what they become in the eyes of others during certain projects? How do they preserve their own identity, and how far can they be shaped according to others’ tastes?

**About the dopea collective**
Instead of presenting the general problems of femininity in an exaggerated, educational manner, the dopea collective unites the honest and unique perspectives of various female artists through fashion and costume design, photography, film, and other visual expressions. The image we see is sometimes distorted, perhaps over-embellished, or we get lost in its details.
The chaotic visuality and intense emotions result from the dynamic communication of female artists working together in different projects, supporting each other in an intellectual collaboration.

The proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the Foundation for the Psychiatric Department of Péterfy Sándor Street Hospital to support those facing mental health challenges and those who assist them.
